TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix pudding 1 lb. caramel squares 3/4 c. can cream 1 c. tiny chocolate chips 1 c. pecans Measure all ingredients and have ready. Melt caramel with cream. Mix cake mix according to recipe on box. Pour approximately 1/2 of cake mix into greased and floured 13x9 pyrex dish and bake 12 minutes. Take cake out and pour caramels and cream gently over cake, a layer of chocolate chips and a layer of pecans. Then pour the rest of your cake mix over that. Bake about 20 more minutes at 350 degrees. Caution: To see if done, do not stick toothpick in because of melted caramels. If it springs back, it is done. |
