TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 can Eagle Brand milk 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels Chopped pecans 2 sticks butter Mix cake according to package, divide batter in half. Into one half stir in 1 stick melted butter, half of Eagle Brand milk; mix well. Bake in 9"x13" greased pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Melt caramels with 1 stick butter. Add rest of Eagle Brand milk. Remove cake from oven to cool (about 10 minutes). Pour caramel mixture over cake evenly. Pour remaining batter over caramel mixture. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Bake 25 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE. |
