CHILI RELLENO CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. butter
1 (7 oz.) can green chiles
1 lb. Jack cheese, grated
3 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. Bisquick

Melt butter in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Arrange chiles in a layer in bottom of dish. Cover with cheese. Blend together milk, eggs, salt and Bisquick; pour over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. (Serve with salsa if desired.)

This is the exact recipe I have been searching the internet for. In the 1980's, my Mom and her partner used to have this casserole sitting around as a staple food item, available any time. We had it for breakfast and for in between meal snacks. It is delicious and simple to make.
