WHEAT OATMEAL RAISIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
1 egg 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. cold water 1/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup wheat flour 1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly beat egg, oil, vanilla and water. Mix in sugars. Blend dry ingredients together, add to above. Stir in raisins, pecans and chocolate chips. Let mixture rest while oven reaches temperature. Drop dough by spoonful on cookie sheets or spread cookie dough on pan. Bake at 325°F for 13 to 15 minutes. Makes 2 dozen cookies or 1 massive pan-sized cookie. Submitted by: Greg Tomsich |
