PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 can crushed pineapple (drained) reserve syrup
1 c. (hot water and syrup)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 c. shredded coconut

Drain pineapple and reserve syrup, add water to make 1 1/4 cup liquid, heat. Add Jello and stir until dissolved, add ice cream by spoonfuls until dissolved. Chill until thickened, then add pineapple and coconut. Chill until firm. Serve topped with whipped cream
