HAWAIIAN HAM SLICES 
1 lg. can sliced pineapple
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 clove garlic, cut in half
2 lbs. finely cooked ham, cut into 4 (2 inch) slices

Combine pineapple syrup, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Pour over ham slices. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning once or twice. Grill ham over coals or gas grill until heated thoroughly, about 10 minutes on each side, brushing on marinade. Heat pineapple slices for 2 minutes. Serves 8.
