QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
6 strips cooked bacon
1 c. mild Gruyere cheese, grated
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. light cream
1 tbsp. flour
Dash of pepper
Sprinkle of nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Break cooked bacon strips in half and lay them on the pie crust. Beat eggs and mix with remaining ingredients. Pour over bacon and bake for 40 minutes or until custard is set and top browned. Serves 4 as a main dish.
