CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (whipped Chiffon butter)
1/4 c. Crisco
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
6 oz. Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter, Crisco, sugars, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in 2 eggs. Gradually add flour, soda, and salt. Stir in morsels and pecans. Mixture should be pasty (not too thick, not too thin). Drop tablespoonsful of dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Don't let them get too dark. Makes about 3 dozen.
