2 sticks butter and 1 stick butter (or 3 sticks butter)
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 - 1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor

Cream butter, butter and sugar. Add eggs. Sift flour and salt and add to butter, sugar and egg mixture. Add milk and lemon flavor. Grandma said to "mix with electric mixer until mixer gets hot". I mix with mixer until I cannot taste any sugar granules by sampling (medium speed). Put in cold oven and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour (grease and flour bundt pan).
