GRANDMA'S POLKA DOT LEMON POUND
CAKE
 
1 lemon cake mix
4 oz. pkg. lemon instant pudding mix
1 c. sour cream
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 c. miniature chocolate chips

Or 1 c. chopped M & M's.

Add sour cream, lemon pudding mix, oil, water, and eggs to cake mix. Combine well and add 1 cup miniature chocolate chips (or M & M's). Bake in angel food pan (which has been greased but not floured) for 1 hour 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool on wire rack in pan for 30 minutes. Remove cake and complete cooling.

Frosting not necessary but may be glazed with thin powdered sugar and lemon juice glaze.
