1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Beat butter and margarine until creamy. Add sugar and flour and oatmeal. Mix and chill. Roll in balls and flatten with glass or fork on cookie sheets.

Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on them while warm.
