1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 3 ingredients together. Spread in greased pan, 9 x 13 inch. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into pan on top of cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Do not overbake. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar. May be varied by changing type of cake mix, such as chocolate and adding nuts and chocolate bits.
