PICKLED EGGS 
1 1/2 dozen eggs
1 med. onion, sliced
1 3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 whole clove
1/4 tsp. dill seed
5 or 6 peppercorns

Put eggs in cold water and bring to boil and cover. Turn off heat and leave in water for 20 minutes. Cool and shell eggs. Put the rest of ingredients together in a small pan. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Pour in jar over eggs.
