MAYONNAISE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all of the above thoroughly. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes in a 9 1/2 x 11 greased and floured pan.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. cocoa
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in water until the butter is melted and the mixture comes to a boil. Pour in mixing bowl and add cocoa; mix well. Add powdered sugar a cup at a time; mix well. Add vanilla; add more powdered sugar if needed. Spread on cake immediately.
