PECAN CARAMEL BARS 
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
28 Kraft caramels
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour; mix well. Press into 9"x13" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

Melt caramels, water, butter on low heat, stir until smooth. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt, gradually add to caramel sauce; mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour over baked crust. Continue baking 15 minutes. Cool, cut in bars.
