CARAMEL PECAN BARS 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. baking soda with 2 tbsp. water

FILLING:

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine flour, oats and brown sugar. Cut in butter until particles are the size of small peas. In separate bowl mix the soda and water, add to flour mixture and mix until well combined. Pat into greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Make filling by combining eggs, brown sugar, flour, coconut and pecans. Spread over baked crust and bake 15-20 minutes longer. Cool about 30 minutes before cutting.
