FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
shortbread crust
1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 1/4 c. 7-Up
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O

Boil 7-Up, sugar, salt and cornstarch until thick and clear. Remove from heat and add strawberry Jell-O. Cool completely. Line bottom of a baked pie shell with a few strawberries. Add remaining strawberries to the cooked mixture. Top with whipped cream.
