FRESH STRAWBERRY PEACH PIE 
FILLING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
4 c. sliced peaches
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries (1 pt.)

TOPPING:

Milk
2 tbsp. crushed almonds
2 tsp. sugar

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

2. For filling combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a large bowl. Add the fruit. Drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to coat fruit with sugar mixture.

3. Spoon into pastry lined 9" pie plate. Add top crust.

4. Topping: Brush top crust with milk. Sprinkle with nuts and sugar.

5. Cover edge with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is light brown. Cool until warm for serving.
