TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 - 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. flour tortillas (you will not use all the tortillas)

Brown meat and onions; drain and return to pot. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chilies and taco seasoning. Simmer 15 minutes.

Layer in ungreased casserole dish: tortillas, meat sauce and cheese. Repeat 2 or 3 layers of each. Bake at 350 degrees about 30-35 minutes. Leftover tortillas can be frozen.
