OVEN BARBECUED RIBS | |
4 lbs. country style ribs 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. chili sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. celery seed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. Tabasco 3 thin slices lemon Place ribs in large Dutch oven; cover with water and simmer 1 hour. Saute garlic in butter in a medium saucepan, about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring sauce to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Place ribs meaty side up in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Spoon sauce over ribs and bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. 4-6 servings. |
