OVEN BARBECUED RIBS 
4 lbs. country style ribs
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Tabasco
3 thin slices lemon

Place ribs in large Dutch oven; cover with water and simmer 1 hour. Saute garlic in butter in a medium saucepan, about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring sauce to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Place ribs meaty side up in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Spoon sauce over ribs and bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. 4-6 servings.

My husband was over the moon for these ribs!! I wondered about the 1/2 cup of Tabasco since it was almost the entire bottle but it was a genius idea!! They are HOT but we like hot food. It was a little in-your-face for my guests but I just toned it down for them with a little vinegar and they got on board. I think my husband is gonna get on board too later on tonight!! wink-wnik!! Thanks for the great recipe.

Made this last night and was a big hit. I made a double batch of the sauce with extra garlic and shallots. My husband wanted to drink it! Will definitely be making this again!
