GARDEN-STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
Carrot and green pepper add color and crunch to these tasty stuffed mushrooms.

1/2 c. dried crumbly style herb seasoned stuffing, crushed
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. finely chopped carrot
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
Pinch of pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
16 (2 inch) mushrooms, stems removed

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In small bowl stir together all ingredients except mushrooms. Stuff each mushroom cap with 1 tablespoon filling. Place in buttered 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.

Microwave Directions: Prepare mushrooms as directed above. Place in buttered 12 x 8 inch baking dish. Cover; microwave on high, turning dish after half the time, until tender (8 to 9 minutes).

16 appetizers. 45 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
