BEEFY CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion
1/3 c. uncooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 sm. cabbage, chopped (6 c.)
2 c. vegetable juice (V8)

Brown hamburger and onions; drain meat. Put in casserole. Stir in rice, salt, pepper, parsley, garlic and cabbage. Pour vegetable juice over top and cover dish. Microwave on HIGH on roast for 13-15 minutes or until rice is tender.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
