SCALLOPED APPLES 
6 lg. apples
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. red cinnamon drops (opt.)

Pare, core and slice apples. Place in buttered casserole, add cinnamon drops, salt, lemon juice and water. Work the sugar, flour and butter together until crumb like consistency. Spread over the apples and bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
