This is good but I think 2 lbs. of cabbage is too much, next time I'll use 1 1/2 lbs. My husband doesn't care for cabbage but I think it's very good and has good flavor. In fact I like this recipe better than I do with sauerkraut.

Love this and will make it again. I added about 1/2 tsp. of Caraway Seed when I stirred in the sausage. I only added 1 1/2 lbs. of cabbage, as suggested.. This kept well and made for a good addition to eggs and toast the next morning. Thank you.

I almost skipped this recipe, because I forgot I had cabbage.Red cabbage. So I made this with what I had.I did add caraway seeds, like Stacy from Kansas did. Both my husband & I like this dish. My Husband told me "You can make this again", and I will. Thanks for the fast and tasty recipe.

Very simple for me (a new homemaker) to make and my husband and I both enjoyed it. In fact we made it again since we had lots of cabbage and sausage leftover. I did add garlic powder which I think added a good extra taste.

This was great! I've been wanted to try cabbage with sausage for awhile it was definitely a nice touch. The recipe was fantastic I too avoided the use of the entire cabbage. Also I let it simmer a bit longer then suggested jut because the cabbage at that point was to tough for my liking. Thanks!

Loved this recipe, although I tweaked it just a bit. Instead of water, I used chicken broth. It's tasty and fast! Thank you!
