COCKTAIL MEATBALLS 
Serves: Several

Prep. Time: 1 hour, 45 minutes

2 lb. ground venison
1 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. onion, grated
1-2 tbsp. shortening
2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 c. barbecue sauce
1/4 c. flour

Mix together first 7 ingredients and form small meatballs. Brown meatballs in hot shortening. Mix pineapple juice, barbecue sauce, and flour. Add meatballs to sauce. Bake in a covered dish for 90 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot or cold on toothpicks.
