2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. nuts (optional)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Mix all ingredients together. Put in ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 325 degrees.

TOPPING FOR CAKE:

1 stick butter
8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and spread on warm cake.
