STRAWBERRY GLACE PIE 
9" baked pie shell
6 c. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 pkg. cream cheese, beat with 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Mash berries to make 1 cup. Mix water, sugar, cornstarch and crushed berries. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool.

Just prior to assembling, spread cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture over bake pie shell. Place whole berries on top of cream cheese layer. Pour cooked berry sauce over fresh berries. Refrigerate 3-4 hours to set. Top with whipped cream.
