APPLE AND RAISIN BREAD PUDDING | |
4 apples, peeled and cubed 3 c. torn slices of bread 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. raisins 3 eggs (beaten) 2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla CRUMB TOPPING: 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. cinnamon Mix apples, bread, raisins, and sugar together. Beat eggs; add milk and vanilla. Mix well together and put in buttered casserole (large). Put crumbs on top and bake until golden brown in 350 degree oven about 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream or plain, cooled. |
