HONEY APPLE BREAD PUDDING | |
Great served warm or cold, with or without cream or ice cream! 2 slightly beaten eggs 2 cups hot milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 cup honey 2 cups day-old bread, broken in coarse pieces 1/2 cup chopped apples 1/4 cup raisins Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and honey. Stir in bread, apple and raisins. Pour into a baking dish. Set baking dish in a round shallow pan and add water to a depth of 1-inch around the baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Makes 6 servings. Submitted by: Susan MacAllister |
