APPLE BREAD PUDDING 
1 slice bread, broken up
1 apple, sliced
1/2 cup milk, scalded
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar, fruit syrup or honey (optional)
1 egg, beaten
raisins

Preheat oven to 350°F. Break up bread into bite-sized pieces in a small baking dish. Layer apple slices over bread. Pour milk and lightly beaten egg over apples and bread. Sprinkle cinnamon and raisins over top.

Bake for 20-30 minutes in preheated oven or microwave for 4-5 minutes.

Makes one serving. Serve with a sprinkle of sugar, or a drizzle of fruit syrup or honey, if desired.
