BRAN FLAKE MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. Raisin Bran flakes
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Mix Raisin Bran flakes and milk and let set 2 minutes.

Add all ingredients and mix well by hand. Bake in muffin tin. Makes 12. I add more raisins (optional). Bake 400 degrees, 18 to 20 minutes.

If you want Raisin Bran muffins use Raisin Bran. For plain bran muffins, use Bran Flakes.

This recipe reminds me of my grandmother's recipe. In the The first batch I Splenda instead of sugar. In the next batch I used honey. I also added a little what germ. I also used coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil. It's a delicious way to add some fiber to your diet. Thank you!
