CRISP SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. 10X sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
Pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
Colored sugar, optional

Blend butter and sugars; add oil and eggs. Mix in the dry ingredients. Roll in balls then roll in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten them with a glass that has been dipped in melted butter the sugar, making cookie about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with colored sugar if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 9 dozen.
