BLUEBERRY MUFFINS (Or Bread) 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 c. blueberries, strawberries or 2 bananas
1 c. nuts (optional)

TOPPING MIXTURE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin or bread pan. Mix sugar, butter and egg. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries. Fill pan 2/3 full. Sprinkle topping on. Bake muffins 20 minutes, bread 1 hour.

5 stars on flavor, but topping has too much butter in it. Muffins rose up fine but topping melted and ran over. Going to make them again and reduce butter in topping.
