POLYNESIAN-STYLE CHOPS | |
6 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices 1/2 c. honey 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. ground ginger Preheat broiler. Place chops on broiler pan; broil 4-5 inches from heat for 8 minutes. Turn chops and broil 6 minutes. Meanwhile, drain pineapple slices, saving 2 tablespoons juice and combine honey with pineapple juice, soy sauce and ginger. Place 1 slice pineapple on each chop. Broil 5-8 minutes, basting frequently with Honey-Ginger mix. Spoon remaining Honey mix over chops before serving. Serves 6. |
