1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. raisins

Cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg thoroughly. Add flour and spices. Mix in oats and raisins last. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake in 350 degree oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
