OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. self rising flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 c. Quaker oats, uncooked Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10 to 11 minutes for a crispy cookie. Cool 1 minute before removing off of cookie sheet. Store tightly covered. |
