PEAR RELISH 
1 peck pears (about 2 gallons)
5 med. onions
6 bell peppers (red, if not available use 2 cans pimentos)
2 lbs. sugar
5 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. mixed spices

Peel pears and grind them with onions and peppers through food chopper. Add other ingredients and cook for 30 minutes after it comes to a good boil. Put in jars and seal while hot.
