1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. water 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.) 3 tbsp. light corn syrup 1 tbsp. water Melt together butterscotch chips, butter, and 1 tablespoon water in microwave (3-4 minutes on high, stirring after each minute) or over hot, not boiling water, on stove top. Stir until mixture is smooth. Add nuts, stir well. Press into foiled lined 8 inch square pan. Melt chocolate chips, corn syrup, and 1 tablespoon water together in microwave (1 1/2 or 2 minutes on high, stirring after each minute) or over hot, not boiling, water on stove top. Stir until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture evenly over butterscotch layer. Chill in refrigerator until firm, at least 2 hours. Cut into 1 inch squares. Makes 64 (1 inch) squares. |
