1 - 1 1/2 lbs. beef stew pieces
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/2 c. hot water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Heat oil in skillet. Brown meat. Remove meat and set aside. Brown onion in skillet. Add all ingredients and mix well. Add beef and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve on sandwich buns.
