SCAMPI WITH SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. shrimp (10 oz. frozen)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
3 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley or 2 1/2 tsp. dried freshly ground pepper
Parmesan cheese to taste
Sweet basil to taste

Clean shrimp, if fresh; drain. Cook spaghetti; drain. Mince garlic, crush and blend with salt, oregano and basil. Heat butter, olive oil and garlic mixture in frying pan. When very hot, add shrimp and cook until shrimp are firm and pink. Stir constantly, 3-5 minutes. Add parsley and toss well. Serve shrimp and sauce in pan with spaghetti. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and Parmesan cheese. Yield: 2-3 servings.
