2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. hot water
1 (1 lb. 3 oz.) pkg. devils food cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts

Place marshmallows in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Combine sugar, cocoa and hot water. Pour over marshmallows. Spoon cake batter, made as directed on package over marshmallow mixture. Top with walnuts.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven. Turn out of pan. Cut in rectangles. Makes 1 (13 x 9 x 2 inch) cake.
