CHOCOLATE CHIP MELT-A-WAYS | |
1 c. butter 1 c. vegetable oil 1 c. sugar 1 c. powdered sugar 2 eggs 4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Sugar Combine first 5 ingredients. Beat until smooth. Combine flour, soda, tartar and salt; add to butter mixture. Beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla and chips. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. 8 1/2 dozen. |
