SWEET HAM AND PORK LOAF 
2 lbs. ground ham (cured)
1 1/2 lbs. ground pork steak
2 beaten eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. cracker or bread crumbs
Salt and pepper

SYRUP:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. mustard

Add eggs, milk, and crumbs to the meat and mix thoroughly. Make into a loaf; bake at 375 degrees. When slightly brown, add the syrup. Cook the syrup ingredients for 5 minutes before basting the meat. Bake 2 hours; serve hot or cold. This is an Easter favorite.
