OLD FASHIONED PUMPKIN PIE 
2 c. pumpkin or squash
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
3/4 c. evaporated milk

Combine ingredients, pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake in hot oven 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

Reduce heat quickly by leaving door open. Continue baking at 325 degrees about 45 minutes. Or until a knife comes out clean after inserting into the filling.
