BREADED PORK CHOPS 
6 rib or loin pork chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. oil or shortening
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

In shallow dish or bowl, combine bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Dip pork chops into egg, then into bread crumbs. Brown chops in hot oil on both sides in large fry pan. Add water and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 35 to 50 minutes until tender. Uncover and continue cooking about 10 minutes until coating is crisp. Serves 6.
