FRUIT STRATA SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 honeydew, peeled, seeded, and cubed
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 pt. strawberries, halved
1 lg. banana, sliced
1 (8 oz.) carton yogurt, (pineapple, lemon or vanilla)
1/2 c. shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese (2 oz.)

Prepare in oversize bowl for ease in tossing. Place 1/2 of the lettuce in bowl, then layer the fruits on it. Top with remaining lettuce. Spread yogurt over the top and sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours. Garnish with strawberry halves and fresh mint, if desired. Toss gently to serve. Makes 12 servings.
