TERIYAKI MARINADE FOR BEEF OR
CHICKEN
 
2 lbs. beef steak or chicken pieces
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 clove garlic, minced

Place meat in large flat glass casserole. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Turn meat every hour. Broil or grill meat. Baste occasionally with marinade.
