FLAT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. graham flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients together twice. Cut in shortening, stir in buttermilk. Put on board or canvas and knead 15 times to mix evenly. Divide into 7 balls. Roll very thin to fit cookie sheets. Cut into desired shapes after it is on baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 10 minutes until light brown and crisp. Prick bubbles with fork as it bakes.
