FLAT BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
3 tbsp. lard
1 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water

Mix first four ingredients as you would a pie crust. Add boiling water - when well mixed, shape into a long roll. Slice and roll out thin with lefse rolling pin. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees until brown. Cool on a rack.
