SWEDISH FLAT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. buttermilk (1 c. buttermilk)
1/2 c. cream (1 c. cream)
1/2 c. melted butter
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour (white)

Mix sugar and melted shortening. Add flour, salt and soda (sifted together) and milk alternately to sugar and shortening mixture. Take 1 tablespoon of dough and roll out with mixture of quick oatmeal and flour. (Can use wheat flour.) Bake on cookie sheet in oven at 350 degrees until golden brown.
